Colonel Ibrahim Zülfikari, spokesperson for the Hatem al-Enbiya Central Command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that they have the Arabian Sea and the Strait of Hormuz under control and therefore have no need to lay mines in the Persian Gulf.
